Car has had a rough life. 45k miles, and a lot of them were on an autocross course or track of some sort. Starting to hear some creak in the suspension when going over dips, into driveways, over speedbumps etc. What is causing that and what can I do about? Polyurethane bushings? ? Are there differences?

Hey J, mine has ALWAYS done it, and mine has led a much easier life. Unlike you, I keep mine off the grass.
I have 25K miles on my 99 now, and from what I understand the bushings really just need to be lubricated. If you're car is like mine, it just started in the past few weeks with the cooler weather.
I switched to poly for the same reason. I also found out they also squeek. To stop the squeek I will have to replace the bar and bushings with factor new.

One thing you can do is before installing the new poly bushings, drill thru the bracket and polyurethane and insert a grease zirk. On the inside of the bushing dremel a central groove to allow the grease to flow. Whenever they squeak, relube them. But I like the way poly makes the car handle.
