HUD display
I'm wondering if HUD can be added to a 1999 that doesn't have it? If it can, is it a DIY project? What's the cost?
Thanks;

Not hard to do, but takes patience. The install took about 8 hours when I helped a friend put one in his '99.

Installed a HUD in my '98 about 18 mos. ago. Not hard to do at all. Average mechanical skills will get you throught. Check this out---the instructions are excellent.

HUD Install
I put one in my 00 FRC last year. Very easy. I have the original w/shield and it works great.
The hardest part was cutting the dash pad out for the HUD projector.
Josh's write up is right on the money!!!!!
