Default Changing spark plugs = broken plug wires

...I run the TR55 coppers. Car runs OK but I figure it is overdue for a plug change, I ran them for darn near 50K miles Anyway, I was able to get most of them off the plug except for three of them which I broke the crimp part out. Mainly I think because I couldnt "squeeze" the connectors to support the inner wire. Now this means I gotta change the wires ugh. I was just going to reuse them. What guidelines do you all go by when changing the plug wires? I've heard of every plug change, to you almost never have to change the plug wires unless they're broken.

Pep Boys has some Borg-Warner plugs for $65 each, but I think I'm gonna drive down to the performance shop, spend the extra $20 and get the Moroso ones. Based on reviews here, Im gonna skip the MSD cause they dont click and may fall apart. I had great luck with the Taylor 8 mm ones, until they broke when pulling them off. But since I need the wires now Im limited to what is available.

Projects always take 3x as long and cost 2x as much as anticipated. Just venting...

I always unbold the coil packs when I change the spark plugs. Thats the only way I can get my big hands into the spaces near the firewall.

i broke a bunch of wires when i did my header install. the plugs where just glued onto the plugs. I used some dielectric grease on the plugs and boots so that it might be easier to remove next time
