When we hit the switch to increase the speed by small increment, sometimes it add 1 mph, sometimes it skip an mph and increment by 2 mph. This is normal. Is it what you refer to?

My Z06 does the same thing. I think it's normal.

on level ground just tap the button to increase or decrease thespeed. If you hold it down long at all it will move more than one mph +/-

Mine does not do that.....I tap the button and it'll either stay at the same # and then I tap it again and it'll skip a number......I don't really think this is normal, but evidently it's common...So I'll just keep on keepin on.....thanks for the responses

FWIW, the two I've had never did that (1999 & 2002).

both of mine do it, it just depends on exactly what speed you are when you hit cruise. what i mean is that if you see that you are skipping, you can speed up just a touch on the throttle, turn cruise off and back on, and it go 1 fo 1. it looks to me like a rounding error inside the computer that controls the cruise. i usually F with it til i get it right, but i am ****. another thing you may notice is that the heads up display is 1 mph off from the analog speedo

Here's another DIC question.... When running without tire sensors, how do you keep the DIC from giving the "check tire pressure" message?

For 01s and later, the Pressure Monitoring System can be turned off using a dealer's Tech 2 Computer. (With the intro of Z06s with no run-flats, the option was added. No such luck for 97-00s) See this link: http://www.stopforce.com/RPO.html

it goes by 2 kph not 1mph, so it will skip about every third mph or so
