Help: Removing Radiator Shroud

Help: Removing Radiator Shroud
I am removing the radiator shroud during a Vararam install. I have all the bolts out but there are 2 plastic posts (one on each side 2/3 of the way down) with metal locks on them. Looks like they go through the radiator rails. How do you get these off without breaking them? And then getting them back on.

are they just the kind that pop in?? kinda hard to say without seeing pic...but I think they are the typ that just pop up like a turkey timer if they are what I think they are..in that case a flat head will allow you to pop them up.
I have never removed the piece so I am not really the one to say but I think I know what you are talking about
