yep its a bad sensor. When you replace it., or have it replaced by someone, purchase one from a large auto parts store. DO NOT. DO NOT DO NOT go to the dealership and by the factory GM-AC Delco Sensor. Its a real piece of crud and you will be replacing it again in the very near future. Good Luck

Sounds like the sensor went bad. Now quit your whining already. Don't you have a wall socket somewhere that you want to stick your tongue into? Home Depot sells safety caps for the outlets if you need them.

The only problem I see is you don't know what your oil pressure is

If you start to hear the lifters clacking shut'r down!

RevExtreme or AntiVenim could replace the sender for you out here in Brandon. Pain in the *** because of the location on the back of the valley cover.

I rode around 4-6 weeks before I got it changed when mine pegged to the max. I read that if it really was that high, the dipstick would act like a missle and shoot high enough to make orbit...

Seems there is a rash of these lately...

Mine went bad right before we had a track event. I ran the car hard all day with no issues.

It's really not any more difficult with the Magnacharger, I had one on my car before I sold it.

All you need to do is remove the fuel line, disconnect the airbridge, unplug the injectors and the evap solenoid, remove the 10 bolts from the manifold (the ones that dont come out I used the plastic conduit pieces to hold the bolts up out of the way) then slide the blower forward about 4 or 5 inches to expose the sensor.

**edit**
I just relized you probably didn't install your supercharger so you don't know what I mean when I say the "plastic conduit pieces".

When the blower is bolted to the manifold the 3 forward bolts on the left side and the 1 bolt on the right under the pulley get put in and will not come out of the manifold because the blower is in the way so Magnason cut some short sections of electrical conduit to clip under the bolt head to hold it up while the blower is moved into position otherwise the bolts will gouge into the heads.
