The dual flow system is one of the easier intakes to install the hardest
part of the job is getting the original air box out since its mounted on
2 grommets that are usually hard by now. If you have'nt purchaed the
dual flow yet the Blackwing is a little better and also easy to install.

Replacing the fog light housings with cold air units helps but it can be
a pain in the *** to install if you have large hands.

installation is simple..to remove the oem airbox remove the filter then pull hard on the airbox and it will pop off the rubber grommets ! they look cool too !!

I had the twin flow intake on my car, when I bought it. It worked well. I eventually went with the Blackwing, but I doubt anyone could tell the SOP difference between the two. The dyno might show a slight increase with the Blackwing. If you are running a screenless MAF the twin flow design is not the best choice. The merged tube design causes turbulence in the intake, causing inaccurate MAF readings. Some have complained about getting codes when running that combo. I never had a problem when running it with a screened MAF.

I ran the RM Twin-flow for three years, no maf screen. You do need to install the cold air screens with it, or perforate your fog light surrounds. I had just replaced the stock air box with K&N and cutout shroud with the TwinFlow at first, and didn't notice much improvement. A few months later I finally got around to putting the cold air screens on, and wow, what a difference. Especially at speed from mid third gear and up, you could just feel the extra pull.

This year I switched to the Vararam, which is basically the piece you get when you follow that logic to its conclusion. But to be honest, the Vararam gained me nothing over the twin-flow w/ cold air screens. I have the dyno's, e/t's, and the sotp meter to prove it.

Good Luck!

IMHO, I really like the look of the dual air intake systems. And, I really like the RM Racing Duals. However, I changed those out to the Volant Twin Air Intake, cut out the fog inserts entirely, and, consequently have more air coming in above shroud at speed, right to the cones. This system has been providing me miles of smiles for over three years, now. Enjoy.
