Had my stock cat back replaced with titaniums bought off the Forum. Garage took about 30 minutes with the car up on a hoist. Piece of cake once you jack the rear up high enough on the lift for clearance and drop the sway bay out of the way.
Anyway, nice increase in sound, now it sort of howls starting at 2500 rpm and no reasonance. Fit was perfect with the pipes tucked up nicely. No positioing or loosening of fittings, etc. was required. Nice way to loose some 20 pounds in the process!
Since I have long tubes/cam and LS6 intake, the sound is noticeably stronger but not objectionable. Great mod for the $!

I did the same thing recently. I had stock cats with long tubes and my exhaust was Corsa Pace Car, the loud ones. Once I gutted the cats, because they blew up (too much boost!!) the car was waaay too loud. I bought a pair of Z06 Ti's and the car is more liveable. Gut the cats on the car, you will probably get a nicer sound.
