Default Header install

I just purchased LT headers and cats from Exotic Muscle and I'm considering having Mufflex in Trenton NJ install them. Has anybody ever had headers installed by Mufflex and how did it work out? Did you have any problems? Cost?

Being that you are in Jersey and there are quite a few Corvette specialists and forum sponsors in your area such as East Coast Supercharging and the Vette Doctors, I wouldnt want to trust another shop. Not to mention you will almost always pay more for installs at a shop that isnt familiar with vettes. You really shouldnt pay over $400 for a header install.

I've used Mufflex to install my QTP's. They did an OK job on that. Don't know what they'd charge for headers...did mine myself. Shawn at The Vette Shop in Ivyland told me that they'd install the headers for $500 a few years back.

I had a small shop do some work for me a while ago and they did great work. I even took it back for some more minor things, they did great work again. But, then I had them recently do a bigger project and I found out the hard way that I should always take it to a corvette specialist. I strongly recommend taking it to a specialist. It just gives me peace of mind..........and you KNOW you won't get a ****ty job done, because they work on them all the time.
