I replaced my oil pressure sensor. Before I did I bought new gaskets. While doing the job I realized that the old gaskets were still good. They are not old school gasket material, they are o-ring style gaskets. If they are still soft and compressable they are probably still good.
They should be good for several installations but they will eventially need replacement (they seem to be made of the same material as the valve cover gaskets). Just inspect them carefully before you reuse them. A new set of 8 costs less than $50 from Fred Beans.
I have to remove my intake manifold to replace a oil pressure sensor, do I need a new intake gasket,, i assume it has one... Thanks
When I pulled my for the heads/cam job the existing gaskets/o-rings were quite flattened. I replaced them as its a PITA to pull the intake off if there is a problem.

can you can fix that w/ cometics. Its great, i was able to yank my heads and not buy a single gasket to put it back together!! Talk about an awesome design. Everytime I did that on my mustangs, id spend 60 in gaskets at least.
