SOMEONE...PLEASE HELP !!!

I have a ticking coming from the dash. I can tell it
has something to do with the climate control. If I turn the temp
setting up to 80 or more it stops. Once it goes below 80 it starts.
This happens whether the air or heater is on or off.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Clayton

The electronic AC is a notorious part with a common failure rate.

I'd start by removing your dash/radio surround panel so the AC and radio are exposed.

Don't forget to inspect the cigar lighter wiring.

Then "do your test" turing the heater to 80 degrees etc and use your eyes and ears to possibile locate the sound.

Good hunting

IN another car I had an electric actuator fail, it clicked as well.

The actuator was a motor with toy-like nylon gears driving a fairly large shaft for the mixer door.
