Superchips Micro Tuner?
I read an article in one of the magazines a couple of months ago about using a Superchip tuner in a Camaro and getting good HP gains. The local parts stores are pushing the Superchips Max Micro Tuner units lately. Has anyone used one of these on a C5? I have a 2001 and want to start tweaking...

How much are those? If you have a notebook computer, I would recommend HP Tuners software. If not, I'd wait on the Superchips because they are in the process of partnering with HP Tuners and coming out with something new. Some of the tunes I've seen from the handhelds (such as Predator) aren't that great because they have to use a "lowest common denominator" approach much like GM did with the original tune. You can get the maximum tune for your car if you have the software and can take it to a dyno with wideband O2 capabilities. I know that this is more than some people care to get involved with (time and money) so maybe a handheld is your best route. Just some food for thought.
