Are the wires by Magnacore good? What about the stock Delco wires?

I put Magnacor on both my Vettes. Very happy with them.

Not to change the subject but since we are talking about wires, what about plugs. The AC Delco's are gapped at .40; the NGK Irridiums are gapped at .60. I have a stock engine Z06. What would be the difference resulting from the different plug gap (.40 vs. .60)? Thanks in advance for letting me sneak this question in here.

The wider the gap the better burn you get at low rpms. and the harder it is to fire at High rps. with the one coil per plug setup. The wider gap should work fine unless you are using Turbos, supercharger or nitros.

I am installing Taylor Thunders 10.5. I use NGK TR 55s and lots of folks here do too.

I got my wires from LG Motorsports (I think they're their own custom wires). And a set of TR 6's. No complaints here.

Don't know about which is best, but I got the Magnacore about 18 months ago and am very happy with them. No problems and they smooth out the shaking at idle by about 50% or so. Well worth the price paid. Can't recall which vendor. I did a search and picked the lowest price.

Did the Taylor ThunderVolt 10.5 wires with Bosch Plus 4 plugs. I don't race, know the difference between platinum, iridium, copper, and silver, and just prefer the Bosch.

i like the msd's because there a high quality wire, plus the boot and be bent away from headers if you have them, otherwise stocks work just fine, to prove my point hook up a ohm meter to them and find out yourself.

In general, I have used MSD wires on all my muscle cars from my 60's Firebirds, El Camino, and, Impala, to my F-Body Camaro IROC's, and, 5.7L Firebird GTA's. However, I must say that I prefer the Magnecore wires on my C5's. And, have had trouble free service with the Magnecores for over 3 1/2 years.
