ABS - Traction Control - Active Handling Errors
In reference to my 2001 vette...
Started experiencing intermittent issues with the ABS, Traction Control and Activie Handling warnings. Even had intermittent issues with the air conditioner not comming on right away. For those of you told to replace the EBCM - BEWARE!. This may not be your problem. Service center replaced the EBCM and failures still occured.
On my 2nd visit this is what was done.
PUT TEC 2 displays codes B0432, P1133, P0161, P1571, C1277.
Service tech traced circuit down to the EBCM terminals. All was good. They later discovered an intermittent open within the ignition switch. Strange - But they say the contacts were degraded and the switch needed to be replaced. Tech then rechecked and I was told all is good now.

Total labor $457.13
Fortunately my warranty service provider covered everything. Including the $1,400 to replace the EBCM. Hopefully all is well now.
