halltech intake on a '99
Hi guys,
I'm aware of the idle quality issues some have had after installing an intake, such as the halltech stinger. Have any of you with the 1999 year had idle issues after installing a performance intake?

you will need to drill a hole for the ACT, unless they now make one for the pre '01 crew(this applies to the halltech unit)

I extended the wires on the IAT, and drilled the hole in the top of the filter, didn't want to mess up that purty airbridge and get a more accurate temp reading, that way.I have foglight surrounds opened up so I'm sure air at the filter is cooler than air passing thru heated engine compartment by a couple of degrees anyway.My car has never run better, and although I had an idle surge problem on my ZO6 setup, an idle relearn cured that...
