How Do You Check For Codes?......
Guys, I know this a dumb question but I just got my first "Check Engine Light" this afternoon, :***** : How do you get to the codes on the DIC?

Turn the ignition on without starting the car
Hold down the OPTIONS button while pressing the FUEL button 4 times within 5 seconds.
The car will cycle through all the modules and their codes automatically
Once its gone through the codes, you can cycle through them manually using the top four buttons
I believe the top two cycle between the Contol Modules and the next two ("3" and "4") cycle between the codes for that module
You can clear codes by holding the RESET button while looking at the codes for a module (This will clear all codes for the module at one time)
H at the end of the code means it happened prior to the last time the car was successfully started. C means it happened the last time the vehicle started.
If you don't find any "C"s, I would clear them all and then wait for the next fault to set. There can be a lot of old H codes in memory and it can make it hard to figure out which one set the code and triggered the Check Engine Light.
p.s. Clearing the codes will typically reset the Check Engine Light
