What is the best tranny cooler out there - who has what brand / model and how has it worked for you?
I'm looking at putting one on my 2001 w/ 3.73 gears and a Yank SS3200 converter. Car will primarily be a daily driver (might try a track ONCE just to see how I do), but other than that, it's around town cruzin' and highway miles.
I've heard both the B&M 70264 or the B&M 70266 - I believe one has 3/8 barbed fittings and one has braided lines?
Someone somewhere also mentioned a "Setrab" tranny cooler? Good, bad, or what?
I'm not qualified to determine "the Best" but I've got a B&M 24K and it works super.
Same here and i'm running an SS3600 Mine is installed as a stand alone unit in front of the condensor. It's also plumbed with 1/2" braided hose. Never see temps higher than 163* in the Florida heat.
Very buce cooler and when I was stationed in Hawaii and it was very warm out, my tranny fluid temp never seemed to go over 190. Great protection for a small price.
