Hey guys I recently got an suv with HIDs and now when I am driving the C5 at night it, simply put, it sux!!! Can you guys provide insight into an upgrade? I have Sylvania Silver Stars in there but it just isn't doing the job.

I am thinking of HIDs however, do I go with Euro housing? Or use the same housing? Or go with new projector kits I have seen online.

Thanks in advance for any insight and Happy Holidays!!!

Brian Marks sells some HID kits at Parts For Your Corvette.

Try those.

Not to be a smart A$$, but have you washed the lights? I read a post on here where some guys "forgot" to wash their lights since they are typically recessed while the car is being washed. Then as I followed the thread many others chimed in and said the same thing. I have silverstars on my vehicle and they realy do quite well, but I understand that you may be spoiled by the HID. My wifes Lexus blows mine away, but I just can't make myself drive a chick car.....

Sorry to high jack your thread......Merry Christmas!! Post some pics when you finish

I'd suggest the HID lights + the T84 GM euro lights. Clean cut off line(if you aim them right) and great light coverage. Or you can pay MUCHO dinero for non popup C5R lights + HIDs (about $1500)[IMG][/IMG]

GJB,

That's funny! Yes the lights are clean haha. The Silver Stars were a marked improvement over the stock bulbs, but yes, the HIDs have spoiled me!!
