Default Weird stuff lately

I own a 2001 automatic convertible, beautiful impecable piece of machinery, this car is 100% stock, but it is really fast.

Not long ago, I took my vette out for a Sunday afternoon drive, I had the urge to step on it coming out of a restaurtant in the keys, I shifted to 1st then proceeded to 2nd and eventually to 3rd.

About a week later I noticed a small drop of transmission oil towards the backend of the car, my neighbor suggested that a lot of transmissions have what is called an overflow escape and that in a couple of days it would go away, but it hasn't.

My question is. Could this leak be related to me accelarating the car so hard?

Second- As of late the car has now picked up a new noise, when I come to a full stop at a traffic light the car starts to tremble or purr and then as you shift to neutral it goes away.

Thirdly- The reading for the front left tire shows LXXX.

This is a great car, and maybe all of these little things may be nothing but I thought of asking my fellow compadres before I walked into a dealer and walked out with a huge bill and then found out I still have problems.

Your suggestions would really be appreciated.

I would have to guess that your car has the dreaded "differential seal leak" that has plagued a lot of C5 owners...there was a thread a little while ago talking about weak seals and yes - a vent of some type on the top of the carrier itself (axel) are you certain it was ATF? secondally, I am not sure about this tremble...but my 97 will do the same thing on occasion (also an automatic) and shifting it to "N" seems to make it go away...it does not seem to effect its ability to shift though...(so it should be interesting to hear what others have to say on this) as for the pressure sensor...it may be a bad battery in the wheel causing that display...

Hope this helps!
