okay... so I've decided to go ahead and fix that nagging oil pressure sensor problem... you know, where you're running 130# according to the DIC.
I've disconnected the air bridge, sensor lines, Fuel injector harness and removed the bolts holding the manifold to the block. Now I can raise the manifold, but can only move it forward ~1/2"... not the 6" necessary to access the sensor.
Is there any trick I am missing... a vaccum line or coolant hose I'm not seeing.
The car is a 2000 manual.
Thanks!

Reason: Can't spell... already had a post engine work beer
Yeah.. had that one (the link) book marked. Looks like the hose at the bottom of the throttle body is what is holding this wagon train up. Damn... that one is a b!tch to take off.

Ran into the same problem when I removed the i/m. I gained access to the spring clip on that lower hose after I raised the front of the manifold a few inches and blocked it there. After I removed the lower hose, I made sure the other end of it was connected to the fitting. When I reinstalled the i/m, I moved the spring clip on the lower hose a few inches onto the hose, and installed it before before I torqued down the i/m. Please remember the i/m torque is 44 inch-pounds on the first pass, and 74 inch-pounds on the second pass...not foot-pounds...don't ask me why I know
Welp... finally got that lower hose off the TB and got another inch or so of travel. Still could not get the manifold off far enough to clear the oil pressure sensor... felt like something behind it was tugging.
Managed to get everything buttoned up and got the car to start... after a rough idle and some other scary noises, found a vacuum line off the drivers side valve cover that had gotten disconnected. Once that got hooked back up, the idle smoothed out and ran fine.
So ... no I'm regrouping... the only links about taking the Intake off are the above link and Evil Twin's tech tip... any more advice or something I'm just not seeing?

There are vacuum hoses at the back of the manifold that need to be removed if you plan to pull the manifold completely from the car.
The small hose on the back of the manifold is a real bitch to reconnect once the manifold is back on. I extended it a little with extra hose so I could reattach it before setting the manifold in place.
Thanks for the great information Vectorz. I finished mine yesterday. I also changed plugs and wires while I was at it. Your instructions were great. Much better than the Service Manuals. What I wanted to mention is that this instruction: The item circled in red looks like a plastic straw. Just pay attention to this when you re-install the intake, there is a hose (on the back side of the intake right next to the map sensor) that it needs to reconnect to (hose is shown in the STEP14 picture).
What looks like a plastic straw is the vacuum line that runs through the wiring harness, under the battery (I had that problem too) and to the A/C controls for the duct doors. I have a '99 and am in Arizona. The plastics are getting brittle even though my car is garaged and in underground parking at work. I broke that vacuum line pulling the intake off. I wasn't sure what it was at first, but then I realized that it was the same vacuum that I repaired under the battery. I attached a rubber vacuum hose to it and ran it separately to the repair under the battery.
I wanted to mention this as the fix to the vacuum line may require removal of the intake again.
