Default Small problem with headlights when closing

Lately, everytime I lift up my headlights and lower them, the driverside light sinks down alittle below the hood line...I tried adjusting the light with the **** and that raised it back up, but when I turn them on again and close them it sinks back down... I want the light to close flush with the hood like it is supposed to do.(the passenger side has no problems..) What do I have to adjust to keep it in place? I also adjusted the light lid but that is a pain. There is only so much you can do, and I dont want to damage the paint constantly scewing and unscrewing until the lid is flush. there must be a better way.....anyone with the same experience/problem please chime in, thanks

If you remove the headlight bezel, you will have access to 4 torx screws that hold the headlight cover on. all the holes in the cover are elongated ( basicly oval ) for adjustment. It's a trial and error thing but pretty easy. How far down are we talking anyway?

Ok remove you headlight Housing there are two little bump-stops on the inside that stop the motor from actuating to far remove them and rotate and reinstall.
More than likely your stops are worn. Flipping them works perfect.

Disregard my headlight cover adjustment, since you've been there already. I'm not paying attention!

When you say headlight housing do you mean the whole thing removed from the car? Where exactly are these bump stops? What's the best way to see them? And where do the bump stops hit on the headlight housing when it is closed? Thanks for this info, i hope it helps others too.

Remove the Plastic light housing the bulbs fit in.
The bump stops are not easy to miss see picture I attached they are cream colored. I also attached the documentation for removing the headlight.

Thanks
