cd changer issues
strange thing goin on with my cd changer. woked great..... then. would not change cd's. showed on the radio screen that it was but nothing. then the next day when i hit the aux button it wouldnt even go to the cd screen display. i tried to get the cartridge out and its not able to eject. looked at the owners manual and it shows the the radio and cd changer use the same fuse. the speakers use a different one it says. i have not crawled under the dash to look yet. but maybe..... one of you all have had a similar and can shed some light. its a 2000 cpe with factory cassete and changer. thanks for any help with this

I had the same problem in my 99 coupe. I'm kinda a DIY guy so I removed the changer from the car and took the cover off and manually ejected the cd cartrage and checked for any broken springs but I found none to be broken. When I reinstalled the changer I removed all of the burnt cd's and reinstalled the cartrage. Everything worked great. I've found that some of my cd's will make the changer hang up and throw errors. If you need help finding the manual eject lever let me know and i'll pull mine apart again and take pictures. I think it's a white lever about an inch in length but I really don't remember. I hope this helps.
