Headlight won't adjust, help!
I put in some new Silverstar bulbs last night and noticed my passenger side light was quite a bit lower than the drivers side. So I took the little round cover off of the headlight bezel, so I could get to the adjusting rod. I used a Torx socket attached to a ratchet. When I started to turn the adjusting screw, it was very hard to turn. I made probably half a turn and then it seemed to break loose. But I could sit there and turn it all night and it didn't do anything. It won't raise or lower the light. What gives here?
Of course after the fact I read through some of the posts on this subject and someone mentioned being very careful because the metal they use here is soft. Also, something was mentioned about stripping something out. I need some help on aligning my headlights. It drives me nuts to drive it the way it is. Can somebody help?

Done this quite awhile ago....... you need to take more "stuff" away from the area so you can actually see what the torx screw does. There are some plastic parts involved as I recall. Maybe a worm gear? Can't recall....... I shot the whole area with a dri lube AFTER I had rounded out the torx head adjusters...... Went over the adjusters with a socket that fit over the torx if that makes sense..... My morale is lubricate these adjusting mechanisms or you're going to have a problem... they are not very staunch mechanisms!!
