Default Need help with headlight housing adjustment

Changed the plastic gear in the passenger headlight motor about two weeks ago. Had to remove the headlight assembly to do so. Went back in flush and has worked great until now. When lights are activated the housing dips a little and goes up. The other side (driver, which was not worked on) goes straight up with no dip. When the lights are turned off .The repaired(passsenger ) side goes down and back up about a 1/2 "and stops. Took the time to manually adjust the passenger side to be flush like the driver and turned them back on. To only see it do it all over again. ANY IDEAS!

THANKS : going

Your headlight motor adjustment is off. Have you checked that all of the housing screws for the headlight motor are tight it sounds as if the gear is slipping inside of the assembly.
I searched the Gm manual but this repair is not in manual or tech notes.
Redo install make sure all things are tight i would even use locktite on any screws that seem loose.
