Default Guages Look Dim???

Just noticed yesterday, it looks like my read out just under the stereo has gotten very dim. (outside temp, inside A/C temp readout)

Anyone else experience this?? Is there just some bulb in there I need to replace?

Common failure. You have to replace the LEDs. There's a vendor on here that does it, but I can't remember his name at the moment.

Good Luck

It may not be the LED's.
It is very commonfor the cold solder joints to fail.
the stealership will want about $900 .... $450 for the part and the same for labor

BUT ....
A CF member mandigital fixes them.... about $40 complete with a 5 year guarantee. There are a number of posts on central dash removal... should take you 20 minutes to get the HVAC head out.....
You can PM him.
or you can e mail him

David Ruberg is his name digital_1guy@charter.net.

Tell him your symptoms and he will confirm whether he can fix or not.
Speedy turn around I took mine out monday am courried to him overnight and I had it back and installed Wednesday night.
It works better than new !
