Bracket racing rules/help on figuring who won needed....
Ok, I dialed in at 8.49 and I ran an 8.491 with a .880 R/T. The guy next to me dialed in 9.45 and ran a 9.525 with a .718 R/T. How did he win? Someone explain to me, with math shown, how he won. Thanks. :crazy:

reaction time. they subtract the difference in the dial in and add the reaction times and the racer with the smaller total wins...
in your case:
8.491 - 8.49 = .001 + .880 = .881
9.525 - 9.45 = .075 + .718 = .793 <-- win for him

Technically not that the time is subtracted or added. Your opponent got the finish line first. What allowed him to the finish line first is that he reacted to the by ~.15 secs. You ran .01 slower but you gave him an additional .15 head start. He ran ~.08 slower but since you gave him a extra .15, you should see on the bottom of your ticket that he beat you to the line by .07
