Another wiper problem...

Hi guys,
Having some problems with my wipers.So I changed the cover.The only thing that agrevates me now is that the wipers stop in the middle of my windshield using the interval position.So everything is back to normal except for this minor detail.....

Wipermotor looks like new so no water damage.Anybody out there who has a clue???Stalk maybe??

if i remember right,there is a little drive arm inside the cover.it has to be timed before you put the cover on.

Yep,there are 2 dots and they have to be lined up and I did this....still this problem.

Are there different covers or is it just one cover fits all?

there are 2 types i believe 1 for intermittent wipers and 1 without,check the part numbers.if they are the same,then think you are out of time.how do the wipers park?

The wipers park in the middle of the windshield like a half cycle so to speak...

if you have the wiper stalk switched OFF and the wipers PARK in the middle of the windsheild that cover is on wrong or when you put the cover on it was out of time.either way most likely you will need another cover because i'm willing to bet that arm is now broken.that arm is what basically controls the "PARK" switch in the motor.take the motor back off and redo the cover,you may be lucky.
