Suspension Question ??????
I drove a c5 today that I was thinking about buying for drag racing, when I turned the steering wheel all the way to the right and drove in a circle the car turned smoothly but when I turned the wheel all the way left and drove in a circle the car was not as smooth feeling, there was a jerky motion that felt like it was coming from the right front wheel. Any help would be appreciated.

Almost any car will want to wheel jump when the steering wheel is turned all the way to one side. You can see this easily if you try it on a graveled area. There could be something not right in the front end, but I doubt it. My 04 does it, my late model Trans-am did it and our Excursion does it.

My Z06 does it too... It is caused by the result of the difference in ackerman effect in the front end, not enough or too much, between the two front tires. The tires get some side load and then hop... Nothing to be concerned about..... The geometry is right for running at speed, not at zero speed at full lock...
