ZERO oil pressure at start up!
I've read several threads about the DIC and gauge indicating max oil pressure but I have the opposite problem. I start the engine and I have 0 oil pressure (on DIC & gauge) for about 5-7 seconds then it reads about normal. During the time of 0 pressure, the engine idles and sounds normal.
I've heard there have been problems with the pressure valve on the oil pump not opening (or closing?) and GM issued a TSB on the problem.
Any help would be appreciated
