2006 Z06 Brake Update!
Just an FYI to let you know that I'm hoping very soon we'll have 25 sets to sell to our valued forum members. I have a bunch in transit but I'm missing one number still, which I will hopefully get more of soon.
With pads and all my pricing comes out to about 1665 or so plus shipping. That is for front and rear rotors, calipers and pads. For now I am selling them with just rotors and pads because I haven't been able to obtain pads yet. Without pads the kits come out to around 1260 plus shipping. That would include rotors and calipers. I have a list that I'll be working from and I'll be taking care of everyone.
More to come soon.
If you were on the list, look for an email from me soon and please respond ASAP to it so that I may keep going.
Thank you,
Gene

If you track your car, you DO NOT want these brakes.
Turns out they use one tiny pad for each piston. The idea was to reduce pad flex to make sure the pad made absolutely flat contact with the rotor.
Beautiful calipers though. Too bad they won't clear my wagon wheels else I might be seriously considering them. They should be fine for street use.
Shane
anyone know of any carbon-metallic pads that can be used with these?
I dont think any other pads will work as far as single pads go. If you want to go that route then you might want to try one of the big brake kits that LG offers. If I remember correctly they offer a fairly nice setup. And again if memory serves me right it even allows you to change the pads with the calipers still on the car. You just pull a plate or cage off of the top of the caliper and the pads slide out like on the World Challenge cars.

What would be the breakdown in cost of parts if say a buddy and myself wanted to go in and buy a set for him to get the fronts and me the rears?
Will these sets eventually be available in just front and rear sets or are you guys only going to offer the complete 4-wheel package?
Shane
Is it possible to get the package with out the rotors? I only ask this because I currently have Baer Rotors on my car (Both font and rear) which are still fairly new.

Email me for the direct quote. I am almost certain that they're all close to the same price, so you could expect about a 45/55 split on the package.
Thanks,

I have no problem with that at all.
Gene.

As far as the caliper and brackets and all, believe it or not, the calipers are so big they don't use brackets. The caliper is the bracket!
These calipers are rolling in. It shouldn't be too much longer and I'll be able to sell at least the 25 sets.
Sit tight.
Gene

Gene do you have any info about what factory wheels will work?
