I read the post did the homework and went to the Stealership to get the part....Well the part they gave me was not correct 
and Having never done one of these before...I didnt know 
. The one actually in the vette has a very large nut and I am going to have to buy yet another tool I will probably only use once. Does anyone know what size the sending unit requires for removal? any help would be greatly appreciated

1 1/16", i think this may be 27mm also
i replaced mine w/ a new one from GM and it failed 3 weeks later, takes about 15 minutes to remove the intake and the required parts

Hey Man! Hows It going?? i Moved to California bout a year ago...Hows the weather there? You still Booger picking and tire kicking the hogs?
