Default Gene Culley from Fred beans....

I don't know how to say it... Gene is the man, not just the man but, THE MAN. I called him tuesday or wednesday about a cover for the bell housing. We had already tried 10-15 of the local dealers and everyone said that they were on national backorder and that no dealers had them. Mark, local corvette guy, said to call Gene and see what he could do. Called Gene told him what I needed and he said he would work on it. Followed up the next day @ 11:00 and Gene said he didn't know what the progress was but was "in the works". Next thing you know, my partner called me a couple hours later and said the UPS had dropped off the cover from some dealership in TX. Gene, thank you for the professional service and restoring faith in the parts world.

Good deal!
It's a pleasant surprise when people underpromise and overdeliver.

I've bought my springs/sways and shifter there and wouldn't go anywhere else.
Delivered on time and exactly as promised.
It's also cool he happens to be 20 minutes away.

Phil,
Thanks for taking the time out of your day and coming here to post something like this. It really makes my day.

As far as telling you it is "in the works" is not really just a general answer but it would take me some time to explain to you how it works when something isn't available from GM. But to make a long story short, there is a period of 48-72 hours of where the order is out there in la-la land. I normally know something after that. You had called the next day so I couldn't give you any better answer than that at the time.

I appreciate your business and hope you will give us the opportunity to serve you in the future.

Thanks,
Gene

Gene,
When it comes to GM parts I am a loyal customer forever. This is the 4th time we have ordered from you and have always had great service. I have always thought of "Summit and Jegs" as having the best ship times but you definitely have the "trump card".

I work at a G.M. dealership and Gene always beats the prices I get from my own parts counter!

Not to mention service is great and really quick shipping times.

Props to both Gene and Fred Beans!!!

Hi All,
Wow, I am very humbled by the support here. I thank you all. I do want to let you all know that I really do appreciate the business and right now I am working with Fred Beans on some re-structuring of what is going on and hope to make an announcement very soon. All good stuff guys, thank you very much.

Mark did send me an email Friday I think. I'll take care of you guys.

Phil, what can I say, thank you.
