This has never happened before,at lunch I started my 1999 put it in gear (a4) started to take off and the car stumbled real bad like an old q-jet carb with no choke then it started to run perfect,I have never had any problem with the car it has no codes and has always run great, any ideas? 74000k.
thanks
well just because they are new doesn't mean anything which is why I always save at least one good wire.
after spending $70 for a new set to replace 1 wire I learned my lesson...
I had the #7 plug actually back out a bit one time...which also caused a problem
Your wright but the funny thing is when I started it after lunch it didn't do it again.I have had the car a year and don't know when the fuel filter was changed last it's due an oil change now maybe I'll change the fuel filter to make sure.
I have cleaned the TB by spraying some on a rag and wiping it out/down...its kinda a beocth to spray it while the car is running..if your air filter is maintained the TB doesn't get to bad...as for the fuel filter if you go that route...shop around prices vary greatly....also you need a tool for removal...pretty cheap. The actual swap is more a PITA than anything
Checked it out last night, clamp on the air bridge to the t/b was not tight, looks like when the dealer changed my water pump they forgot,we'll see today. thanks for all the input
