Default 5 point belts

I have a 01 coupe and I want to install a five point seat belt. I think I need to install a bar behind the seats. How do I do this without hurting the car ? Where do I buy what I need for this install. Thanks George

There's a good thread on harness bars in the racing section.

I'd recommend the harness bar from http://www.hardbar.net Also available in the Forum's mall.

First, you'll need some method to attach the shoulder harnesses. This is usually a harness bar. Most attach to the shoulder-belt attach points and the rear seat-track bolts. Others require cutting, drilling, and/or welding. Some bars come with seat belt brackets; some don't. You'll also need a method of attaching the anti-sub belt; usually a metal plate that attaches to the front seat-track bolts. I've never seen one for sale, so you may have to make one. Belts sets cost from $140 to $200 per seat. Cam-locks are the preferred latching system. Belt manufacturers are Simpson, Sabelt, Sparco, Pyrotech, and others.

I'm going with the Speedware bar and Sparco belts.
