Best way to pull motor?
Remove headers, intake, radiator, hood, AC compressor (set asidde), all electrical connections and stuff from the motor. Don't forget all the support straps for the wiring bundles on the bellhousing.
Unbolt the torque tube to the bellhousing
Unbolt motor mounts from cradle
Lift motor up/forward/up. The interferences are the 'wings' of the oil pan on the cradle and the power steering rack. Also remember to support the torque tube so it doesn't slam down on the tunnel cover when the motor finally seperates from the tube.
I put the motor in twice. Once with the driveline installed and once with it removed. With it removed is WAYYYYY easier. The time used to pull the rear out about a foot will save loads of headaches if you don't do it.
There are obviously other items attached to the motor that need to be removed, but I can't think of them all right now.
