Default Euro Tailight Installation Questions

Wife bought me a set of Euro tailights for the FRC. Great wife

Now the installation... Looking for any tips for the installation. Instructions say to remove the knee panel on the drivers side to gain access to the brake light switch and to cut the white wire. Easy enough, but, according to the shop manual, I need to remove the center console, then the instrument panel surround (bottom) then I can remove the knee bolster. Sounds like a lot of effort to get to the wire that needs to be cut and taped!!

For anyone that has done the Mid America kit installation, did you really need to go through all of this?? Any other tips/tricks to make this as simple as possible?

You need to remove the panel under the knee bolster. It is the small, flat panel that's directly above the pedals. Held in with 2 or 3 pins if I recall. You have to get your head way under the dash to do this....it's the worst part of the whole job, but you definitely don't have to remove the console or knee bolster.

Thanks!! I was looking for just that kind of tip. Hate being a contortionist to get under the dash, but I would rather do that than spend a couple hours removing and reassembling half the interior.
