Default ??? Blackwing sits too high???

after I installed the Blackwing using all parts supplied and remounting on same bolts and same holes, it is riding too high and hits the hoodliner. did I miss something here?? anyone else find the same thing?? Thanks for your support.

I had the same problem. See if the connections at the air filter end, around the MAF, are pushed together properly. I was not able to get them all the way snug and mind sits a little high still though it no longer hits the liner.

I had heard about this before I installed mine, but had no problems, I made sure everything was fully seated at each point and the air ducting was 100% flat vs a little twisted and higher on one side. I also have the high flow CF air duct, so it does not anchor to the shroud in two places like the stock one does.

I Had The Same Problem But My Fix Was To Take A Dremel
Tool And Grind Down The Inside Of The Plastic That
Connects To The Coupler Because It Didnt Go All The
Way In Once I Grinned It It Pushed All The Way In And Now All Fits Good
