Default Key Fob programming

My RFA module is refusing to let me into the programming mode. I hold the reset button for 3 seconds and push the option button but nothing happens. The radio is off and the dic is cleared but I can not program it, what gives. Anyone have this happen.

Strange. I would disconnect the battery for 10 minutes and retry. Good luck. Any codes in the rfa module ?

you are not doing it right. turn your key on but do not start the car. cycle options until the DIC is blank. THEN hold the reset button till FOB training appears press reset once and then it tells you to hold the lock and unlock on the FOB. it will cycle through 3 fobs

I had some codes but I didn't write the down, I had a dead battery and I was assuming the codes were from that. I cleared them all and tried it againg with no luck. I wil try disconnecting the battery and see what happens.

Man I'm an idiot I have been trying to program two dead key fobs for a week
All I had to do is buy two new batteries for the fobs and it was fixed.
I just figured both batteries couldn't be dead at the same time (wrong)
Anyway I'm just glad its fixed now. And the battery disconnect worked to let me into the key fob programming mode thanx vette747.
