Default Snap-on tool part #

I'm helping a friend replace his clutch and did a search for help removing the pilot bearing, I found a couple people who recommended the snap-on tool but nobody had a part number, so my question is does anybody out there know what the part number is?

You got it - never found any other way. Nice stuff though, I have 4 of their jackstands - nicely done and light too (aluminum).

The first thing I do when I get on the truck is ask what's on sale... Most dealers run monthly specials that end up about a third off. It's the best way to buy those things (sets?) you just can't live without... well I guess some folks can... live without that is.

All I can say is don't go the cheep rout and get the 2 jaw slide hammer style. Actualy it wasn't cheep, $50. I spent about 4hr ( at least 500 pulls on the hammer) including multiple trips to the hardware store for modifications to try and get the one I had purchased to work. The methode for removal needs to be a nice steady increese in pulling force like a gear puller scheme otherwise the jaws just keep poping out of the bearing.
Good luck.

Snap-on used to make a puller like this.

http://www.alltradetools.com/index.h...product_id/692

this does not use the slideing hammer and worked great for me,
took about 15 min to remove the bearing, 5 of that was learning how to spread the hooks.
