What is the valve stem length on an LS2 head vs. the LS6 head and the LS1 head?

Most specifically: what length pushrod would be required for an LS1 that will be getting LS2 heads and an LS6 camshaft?

Your best best is to buy a $20 pushrod checker and check your specific setup to be sure you are using the correct length pushrod.

the difference between the 2002-2004 ls6 valve and the 2001 or 2005/6 LS2 valve is .6mm(not a 100% on this), most shops will use the standard 7.4 p/r's w/ the 2002-2004 LS6(lighter, sodium fill valves)for cam swaps

the question comes down to what valve is in the '243' or LS6/2 head, as noted previosly the only valve that will be of different length is the 2002-2004 LS6 valves(this was due to the different base circle used)

243 heads(JUST THE CASTINGS,BARE) are the same from 2001 to present(used in the LS2's)correct??

i also noticed the ls2's use the same yellow spring as the ls6's in the c5's, although they have the smaller lift 2001 cam w/out the reluctor ring, cam positon sensor runs off the cam sprocket up front
