Default Dyno Help

I just had my 2004 Z06 dyno'd today. It is completely stock and the results are what I expected - 349 RWHP, 345 Torque. However, there are 2 downward spikes at about 78 MPH & 90 MPH. Anybody have any ideas what caused that? Both pulls were almost identical and the spikes were at the exact same place.
And no jokes about it being done at a Dodge dealership.

TX,

Must of missed you today. Can't answer your question but I do have one for you. I had mine dyno'd as well. Did you see anything funny about the A/F curves for your two runs? My A/F curves dropped on the second run but the HP/TQ curves were dead nuts on. I'm wondering if their A/F setup is flakey.

would of been helpful to place ignition advance on the chart as well. It may have been knock retard.

If this dip in the torque curve was real, there should have been a corresponding dip in the horsepower curve.

Hi, I can tell you that the spikes are from the "Tachometer Probe" sample seeing a "higher" RPM spike momentarily. This is why the "X" axis is plotted on speed rather than RPM. Without a linear increase in RPM in your log you cannot plot against that. Since there is no change in the HP output there is not a problem with the vehicle. Only the data sample. This happens at times with all dynos and is a PITA.

Thanks for all of the replys. After I add a couple of mods I have planned (CAI, headers), I will have it dyno tuned and see what happens.
