Default HELP, Idle problem

When I come to a stop, the idle stays a little above 2000 rpm for about 10 seconds and then comes down, can someone help me, thanks (02 Z06 head & cam package 510HP)

sounds like your tune is off.i'm assuming you had it tuned anyway.but what you are describing it sounds like your tune[idle circuit] is off.

no sensor, some of the parameters between the tac/pcm modules need to get tweaked.DO NOT LET anyone drill a hole in the throttle blade.it can be done by tweaking some of the parameters,it takes some time, but can be done.

Is this a new problem?

Or has it been this way right after the heads and cam?

Or did you install anything recently before this problem showed up?

Yes def. DO NOT drill a hole in the throttle plate, but with his problem of the car idling HIGH, it would make it worse as more air would flow past the throttle body at idle.

I knocked my Idle Airflow and Idle Airflow Parked values down between ~8-68 deg. C to eliminate that cruise control effect.

is the throttle housing gunked up[blade sticking]? but from what you are describing it almost sounds like a bad tune.could be a slight air leak after the maf and before the throttle but i would think you would throw a lean/maf type fault.another possibility would be a pcv valve sticking, but you should also be sucking oil out of the motor
