Anybody think I would have any issues if I relocate my MAF to behind the air bridge? Might there be any tunning involved in this? I would'nt think so but I am curious and would like to get some opinions. I have noticed that GM has done this with the new Vett.
I' was going to ask this excellent question too.I wonder why the Callaway honker requires the mafs to be moved. On the C6 it has also been moved to the location as said.Wonder if there are any gains in this move?
That's exactly why Callaway moved the MAF close to the throttle body on the C5 Honker intake, less turbulence and more precise air metering, the same reasons GM moved it there on the C6. I've had the Callaway Honker installed on my 04 Z since last May, no codes, no check engine light. Car runs great. No tuning is required, although I'm sure there are some ponies to be gained with tuning. I don't think you would have a problem moving your MAF close to the throttle body.

Why did you choose the Honker over, say, Vararam, Halltech, or Vortex - particularly when the Honker is more $?
