2003 LS1 Automatic Sputtering
The problem started last night. If I try to put my foot into it, it will rev out, redline, the shift light comes on, and it starts sputtering violently. I have been told it could be the fuel filter, but it could also be the cam position sensor. At normal RPM's it runs fine. Anyone had this same problem?

If your are hitting the redline, the rev limiter would kick in and that may be the "shuttering" your are describing. So what your saying is the car is not shifting at WOT?
