That's all caveated upon you having a stock LS-x engine.

HTH, and have a good one,

I'd save the money and have a tuner do a SD tune. If you go to a new MAF your going to need a tune anyways.

Do not buy a Granatelli, if that's what you're looking at. do a search on the forum for the type of MAF you're thinking of buying. Chances are, they're no good. If I were you, I'd start somewhere else with my mods. Experience talking here... Wish someone had told me that!

The only one that I know of thats worth anything is the MTI Racing composit MAFS, It uses the stock center section (the heated wire section). But it's about $300 and on a stock motor you might gain 3-4 rwhp. Like said above, but the $$ into mods that make bigger gains, cold air intake and long tube headers, high flow cats.

Aftermarket MAF's are a complete waste of money. All of the tuners that I have talked to hate them with a passion. I put one on my car, before I knew that they were worthless and that was the first thing the tuner put back to stock. Spend your $ on something else!!!

Default Mafs

Late model GM MAF's are good to over 500HP and function well with FI. Just because its offered for sale doesn't make it better!
