Default headers shift kit cam programer

Im looking for a suggested path of upgrade. is there a noticable difference between short or long tube headers. has anyone tried the billy boat mufflers. after exhaust looking to maybe change fuel flow ( injectors, pressure regulator) has any body had luck with intakes or cam suggestion.

im also wanting info on shift kits yes no good ones or just stick with trans computer upgrade

also any luck on best programmers

the car is a 97 auto looking for more power with reliability wouldn't mind eventually goin as far as new heads i just dont want to spendmoney twice and would like to be able to upgrade squentially rather than all at once.

I know these have been adressed in other post over time. Now that time has past lets put all of the general consensus of this forum in one place

As far as headers. Get long tubes, end of story.

You'll be fine on your stock fuel system till you get up into the 500rwhp range. Get yourself a decent cam and springs and use your stock heads. Have somebody LS1-Edit your car to tune for the cam and disable torque managment and change shift firmness/points. Also. If you go with a cam i'd suggest a higher stall torque converter. give LG motorsports a call and they can go over ALL the options for you. Ask for either Bobby or Anthony.
