Default G5X1 or FM13?

I am trying to decide between these 2 cams. Mods are as follows.

Ported TB
Dart 205 heads
Dynatech headers with cats
Stock titanium exhaust

I have heard good things about both but I don’t know which one to go with. Any thoughts or opinions would be great.

Thanks
Adam

I say get a G5X2 or X3, but the X1 is a great smaller cam. An X2 or X3 would better take advantage of those heads though.

You still have the LS6 heads that came off of your car? I've been looking for a pair.

03 Z06:

I'm going with the G5X1-E in my 2004 Z06. It will pass all emissions tests in Texas if I ever need that. It will make the same power as a regular X1 (maybe more torque I hear). It will have a better idle than a regular X1. Similar setups get 450rwhp/430rwtq. Lou said its one of his favorite cams Lou also says with this cam my lifter springs he is installing will last forever (Comp 921's). I personally would rather a running 450rwhp.... Than a broken 470rwhp.... Reliability is important to me.

I'm getting my setup installed this Monday....
AFR 205 heads milled to 59cc (>11.1 compression)
G5X1-E cam
160 stat
ASP UD Pulley

Already have 390rwhp/379rwtq with
Vararam B2 with K&N
Air bridge/Air Coupler
LG headers with cats
B&B Bullets Twin Tips

Installed already but not in above dyno tune:
Shanner ported polished throttle body
Throttle body bypass

I'll post Monday how it went... Hope to have Vid clps soon after.

*EDIT* Dropped off the car today. LG's will start work on Monday. They said he will call when its ready but suspects Wed completion date.

you could do a search over at ls1tech.com or you can take my advice right now. out of those 2 cams DEFINATELY the FM13. you'll find that it always produces great results.

but i agree with shane, Id get the G5X3. i had it in my H/C 90mm setup and i loved it.
