Why remove the starter? Would be easier just to unbolt the valve cover and pull it out from the top. Takes about 5 minutes to pull the coil pack and cover.
They won't come out the top with the new ET heads.

Didn't know that. In that case, I would say you definitely need to remove the starter and jack the car up at least 20 inches in the front. Gonna be tight but it might go.
I thought we need to remove the headers to remove the starter. I did replace my stater couple months ago and have to pull the headers completly out.
I guess y'all can just unbolt the headers and put them aside to remove the starter.
