Stripping Urethane Bumpers

So far, my C-5 doesn't have too many flex marks/stone chips in its bumpers, however at some point I'm sure that it will need a repaint. My Camaro, however, is a different story. The front bumper is showing it's age, and really needs to be refinished.

Does anyone have any experience with stripping/refinishing urethane bumpers? Chemicals, plastic blasting, soda blasting, plain old hand sanding?

The guy at the shop that repaired my bumper covers said he sanded them. By the way, you have to sand out crack completely -all the way to the urethane - or they will show through.

They have spray stripper just for Urethane bumpers at the body shop supply house. Probably take a can or 2 to do 1 bumper.
