Okay, got it all done. F45 lowering was a little tough, at least in the front, but well worth it. Ride is stiff, but handling is NICE and I love the new look!
Car looks great...... must be hot with that glass top.. I can not use mine in the summer... Ah !!!! the 58 in the back ground brings back lots a memories..
From the angle of the shot looks almost like you could drive a mack truck under the 58... funny how 40 years can change your memory..
Very  ; can't wait to have mine lowered next week. Brian at the VetteWrench was going to lower the back 1" and the front 1/2 inch. How much did you lower yours.
Looks Great!!!! I wish I could lower mine, but I can barely drive around Houston as it is with all the pot holes, bumps and steep parking entrances. It's pretty bad.
Really looks  Do you know what the exact measurements from the ground to the bottom of the fender wells ended up at? I lowered my Z51 suspension 1" in the front and 1.75" in the rear and plan on going lower in the front. Have the rollers coming in before cutting the front bushings.
Yeah, I lowered it myself, just following the directions in the tech tips section. The front was really a pain because of the F45 sensor kept getting in the way. If I had to do over again, I'd definitely spray stuff on the bolts to loosen them a little before I started turning them. I have all the tools if anyone around Seattle needs help with it.
:yesnod:
It's lowered as far as I could go without removing the front bushings. When I cut the bushings in the back I removed two sections from each of the four bushings. That left two thin sections for each bolt. I didn't measure before, but now I can barely fit two fingers between my tires and the wheel wells.
Thanks for the compliments! Makes all the work worth it
:D
